 Had quite the experience today, took my friends from Europe to the gun range. With guns being something, I grew up around with my family always owning guns, hunting with guns, and recreationally using guns, them never even seeing guns in real life was bizarre. Their experience with guns only went as far as seeing guns in movies or shows, but never holding or interacting with one. For me interacting with guns taught me a certain respect that comes with holding a gun and potentially someone's life on the other end of that gun. But they'd never experienced that feeling, and obviously coming to America that what was the one thing they wanted to do? Shoot a gun. So, we go to the range and of course they're picking out their favorite gun from a video game or movie to shoot, just thinking it'll be like they've seen in media.
