Just had the busiest week ever, had three exams and so much homework I couldn't even get out and do anything this week. And there's a hurricane on the way! Gotta go to the store tomorrow to get some extra food just in case it gets bad.
Me and my friends took a weekend trip to New Orleans this past week. Seeing New Orleans was so cool with all its cool architecture and history of the city. The sights and sounds were amazing bourbon street is like a party 24/7 with people and shows and bands at every corner. Overall, it was a great expirence and really glad I got to go.
Little late on this post, mostly because nothing really new happened this week. Mostly just a lot of homework and going to the gym. Pretty much settling into my routine for the next couple months now that school has actually started. Hoping to start applying for some internships this week to hopefully get a summer internship around Pittsburgh.
Finally got done doing my 12 homework assignments for the weekend. Had to do them all tonight to get ready for our big trip down to the keys for the weekend! So far I think I'm only going to have one or two challenging classes, just mostly busy work for now though. Went to the first football game last night and wow they got nothing on a division 1 school, there field looked like a high school field. Overall though the atmosphere was good, and the game was exciting, and even the tailgate wasn't too shabby not USC level but good enough.
First week of classes, love it and hate it. Love it because that means I'm one week closer to going home, but also now I have schoolwork to do. Aside from school though, had a very interesting week. Attending some campus events with friends, playing volleyball until 3am on Tuesday, and going clubbing for the first time this weekend. Overall, the first week of classes was a success.
Finally made it to FIU! Wow the campus is beautiful but the weather is better. I've met some many nice people already! There are so many foreigners here and its awesome meeting so many people from different parts of the earth.
My main goal for NSE is to hopefully go to FIU and love it there so I can transfer there. At the same time, I want to maintain my 4.0 GPA. I'm excited about the new opportunity but I'm nervous that I won't like it there either then the rest of my college career I'll be stuck somewhere I don't like or enjoy. As far as a bucket list I don't really have one, mostly because I don't even really know what's in Miami. I'm more using NSE to hopefully find somewhere I enjoy rather than using it too look good on an application.
